Indian origin Anamika Veeramani wins US Spelling Bee
Indian origin Anamika Veeramani , the 14-year-old girl from North Royalton, Ohio won the 83rd Scripps National Spelling Bee. Anamika became the third consecutive Indian-American bee champion, and the eighth in the last 12 years. Anamika survived the round by spelling "juvia" - a Brazil nut.

MTNL offers F-secure Anti-Virus to its subscibers
Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd in association with F-secure is providing PC protection (anti-virus) to its broadband customers.
Initially this will be offered on a free trial basis for first 30 days and later will be charged Rs.2 /day.

Google Removes http:// from Chrome
Google’s Chrome browser will no longer include http:// as part of the URL field. It was only six months ago that Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the World Wide Web, admitted that the double slash punctuation in the URL was “a mistake�, and Google have seem to have acknowledged this revelation.
