Upload Speed is Faster than Download on an MT 841

Seems like my ADSL speeds are the wrong way around....
Modem/Router is MT841 Here's a screenshot from my modem showing speeds

the Bandwidth Up/Down shows 510/70 which seems the wrong way around

and another one from an online speedtest confirming the same

i used a tutorial that is on this forum and elsewhere on the web to configure MT841 to autodial (router mode?) so that im always connected..

has someone else seen this misconfig before? is this an issue at my end or on bsnls part? btw this is in Pune. i have tried restarting the router and different times and seen similar results..

the problem is with your downstream attenuation..
It seems that you are located at least >4km away from your exchange.
the max value you shud have is around 45-50dB..

Thats the reason why you are getting low download speed..
which plan are you on? If ur on HOME 500 then its a waste of money since U wont be able to get 2Mbps on ur line.

Im using the UL750+ plan and am from Pune. Usually the upload speed is more than download for me..
What you are getting is way too less (70kbps!), so i suggest you complain to your exchange.
