Today I have noticed a dramatic change in dataone's upload speed. Well, I am on unlimited plan Home 900 UL.

Check your upload speed... Does any of you see the change ?

You mean now upload and download are DSL and not ADSL? :> Like Airtel and TATA?

Who wants 64kb uploads. Its insulting!!! Not only that but 64kb with 2mb downloads is well a feature...

I really don't have any idea.... But I am really enjoying it for now.

Actually at around 4 PM today internet was down and it was restored at around 6:30 PM. From then I have been getting these speeds.

Hope the speeds goes like this all the time. Smile

I just came online to post this, I am on Home 900 UL and I am getting 256kbps upload speed as well. I hope this lasts.
Even better I hope they quadruple the download speed which for me is still stuck at 256kbps (I once got 412kbps on SpeedTest but it must have been an anomaly).

Guess when home 500 users are getting 2048kb down/512 kb up which is upgrading to 8192kb down and 2048kb up, the least they can do is get home900 users 256 down/256kb up....

900UL users are still the suckers though since the speed difference is like 10x and in the 6 hours of NU you can still download more and save power by not having our system up 24x7...

At Calcutta I am also getting 24 kB/sec upload speed on my UL900+
Nah.. getting the full 32 kB/sec upload speed, hope this lasts forever.

dude; I'm on this plan coz... my work is like that. I transfer lot of traffic during day times which I can not do on Home 500 .

Laughing HOME 500 users Laughing you people shutdown the computer during day times and wake up @ 2AM and sit in front of computer like a devil Twisted Evil Laughing also as we can see.... you have posted @ 3:46 am !! GOSH man..

I agree with dnk035. I use a lot of bandwidth during daytime for online trading/charting etc. Something one cannot do during night Very Happy

The 256 Upload is a pleasant surprise. No more waiting for Airtel to arrive in my area. Hopefully the next step forward is a 512 UL download speed.

We live in hope.

Another reason for going for 900UL is that wife will kill me if I stay awake at 2am to download torrents Razz Razz

i am on UL900 in Pune and I also just checked, yes, getting the upload boost. i also hope this is not a temporary misconfiguration Smile
