I am with Titus. Even 1 GB of download gets exhausted in 23 days.

IMPORTANT!! CAREFUL WITH DATAONE CONNECTION STARTED IN THE MID OF AMONTH!! a true life story
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
they say at their website you get 2.5GB transfer per month for rs500 in the home500 connection. But they are lying.
this is how they calculate it.
2.5GB is not per month. But for 30 days (though they say its per month in big words in their website)
so average 85MB per day for rs.500
if your connection is established in the mid of month. You wont get 2.5GB
they will give you only the remaining days!!
so 10 days remaining in the month, you get only 850MB! not 2.5GB for that month
complete story at

Indeed u are correct. The data is calculated using pro-rate basis and suitably billed. Its what BSNL has been doing for the last two years.

sumitpoi,
it may not be bad username/password. i have the same problem sometimes.
i think this is line problem. i get this when ever it rains or a wind blows
then i lose connection
and when try to relogin it says all the messages
cant connect to remote modem OR
remote comp not responding OR
your username/password is invalid in this domain
and a lot more
i cant remember as i am sick of this
when i go to exchange they will say the dont anything. Only JTO knows, he has to come. JTO is always out of office. must be a really busy guy
so go to your exchange and check the line. of course they will say line is crystal clear like fibre optic. but insist your phone is having problem

bsnl sucks for gaming.
i play america's army and get 150-200 pings on most servers.
sometimes try to play CS:Source (original copy), but get kicked from 90% servers for high ping.

BSNL Dataone has recently introduced a shiny brand new plan for the senior citizens. Not that they admit but it’s seriously a plan for your grand parents. The plan features Internet speeds of up to 2mbps at only Rs.125 per month. The minimum hire period is around three months.
