DataOne Account Password
You are instructed to change you default password provided by BSNL immediately. Since the original password provided by BSNL is very easy to guess, many people have started using DataOne accounts illegaly. Many users have reported high usage on their accounts even though they haven't used their accounts to that extent.
To protect yourself from unscrupulous attempts to use your accounts, please change your passwords immediately by visiting

If you are having trouble figuring it out, then get help from a friend or the BSNL Customer Care @ 1600-424-1600. There are several threads in this forum regarding how to change the password in the Router (CPE) or the dialer.
Router / Modem Password
Lastly, please change the default password (admin:admin) of your router / modem. Depending on the make and model of the router, the option to change it will be under different menus. Please login to your router @ 192.168.1.1 (in most cases) and make the necessary changes.
