New Airtel Broadband Plans !!!

i talked to airtel about being sick of my 128 kbps unlimited, abnd somebody told me they we're coming out with a new 256 unlimited for rs. 999 and i could get it.. However, i did not have my user id then and called back later.

unfortunately, i came across a loser this is time, who said there is no such plan. i asked him about business and plans coming up, but he had no clue. anybody with contacts at airtel, please try to get more info.

i just talked toa third executive, and she says that the plan is valid. I have to pay rs 999 plus taxes for 256 kbps broadband and telephone both.

I'm currently on 900 for 128 unlimited, but you heard me right, they're bringing out Phoen+Broadband (256 kbps) UNLIMTED for Rs. 999 (plus taxes, not yet confirmed about modem rent, calls extra)

1.Home 699-speed 128kbps-unlimited
2.Delight999-speed 256kbps-unlimited

All including modem rentals and voice plans.

The new plans are called Home 699 plus , and home 999 plus. Modem rentals included. REJOICE !!!!

Also not that these plans are valid throughout india.

I was about to say that. I live in MP and I called Customer care immediately after reading this. Turns out the plan has only been implemented in Delhi. Called my sister immediately to verify it with Airtel.

the tariff page mentions it's valid everwhere except delhi, and chandigarh, who have different slabs. Delhi has it too, so i'm unsure only about chandigarh. Cust care is dumb, try again.

Aha.....This gets interesting....Gotta see how many days BSNL is gonna wait before it comes up with something matching/exceeding this offer....Offer valid for Chennai...just found out....Hope there is *no* catch, unlike the infamous sify example Wink
