The problem is not at your end. Submit a written complaint to bsnl, and keep a signed copy of your complaint

The problem is not at all related to DNS.

hi all..

i was on a username, say *****01 till yesterday but now they called up form the bsnl office n have told me that the username is now changed n it jus ***** n no 01 to it.

well, the problem is not that, after i configured i found the dns 61.1.96.69 not working properly and also my ip hand changed from 50.xx.xx.xx to 117.xx.xx.xx. so has there been any upgradation in the servers. i am from kerala.

a third thing i am facing is that i am not able to check my usage. if i go through the dataone administrator stuff at dataone.in then it says forbidden n if i try to check the usage it says invalid username and password even after having tried with the old username/password n the new username/password. i am presently on opendns.

neither am i able to check using the Firefox plug in or the other two dataone usage stuff..

can some one help me out.. pls

you have been upgraded to nib-ii, hence the change in ip address.

now your new user id should be of the format ###@bsnl.in and your portal id will be different from the broadband id.ask the bsnl guys for your new ids.

here's the login page for new portal

bbservice.bsnl.in/

note:the new portal may not work for a few days due to upgradation work, mine hasn't been working properly since 20 days... so be patient.

search the forum for new dns, as they have been changed too or use opendns.

hope everything's clear now.

Hi,

I am facing some strange problem with my BB. Every morning 08.15 to 09 AM the ADSL signal goes off. As usual useless help desk says there is a problem with my modem. (D Link 502T). Till now I have registered 5 complaints. What should I do?

Sattvic.

HTTP uses port no 80 & HTTPS uses port 443 which I think is being blocked in your router.

thanx for reply dear
but i not find any port setting in router wa3002g1 type II (nat table setting shows some option)
same time type I adsl mode work ing fine..

but wa3002g1 modem not worked
i tried to scan port 443 RESULT
"""" An attempted connection to 117.201.80.22:443 was refused. This typically indicates that there are no services available on that port, but that it is NOT being blocked by a firewall or your ISP"""""
plz suggest me what 2 do
creat any new table entry for port fW or what

"" Imp. when i config in bridge mode all web site open no problem""
