I have bsnl broadband plan Home500combo which is excellent plan and costing me monthly Rs.552 for broadband and landline. Bandwidth is 256kbps to 2mbps but i cant get download speed more than 1.8mbps. previously download speed can reach upto 1.4mbps then i used trick by setting reserved bandwidth for microsoft windowsxp 0% from 20%.But i cant reach download speed upto 2mbps.
If anybody have trick to use total bandwidth of 2mbps then please help me.
Thank you.

Very few people get exactly 2Mbps, most of us get 1.5-1.8Mbps.It depends on many conditions such as your line quality, distance from the exchange and other factors.

I guess what you are getting is quite ok....

You do get constant connection right.. I mean no dropping connections and such.

From this link:-

speakeasy.net/speedtest/

I believe the kolkatatelephones.com's broadband speedtest is just a copy of this site.
