Another way to turn customer care towards you is, overuse your allowed usage and do not pay the bill....and make them call you....of course if you opt for another ISP

I had the 256kbps unlimited connection. There would be no connectivity for 6-8 hrs a day. However their speeds were pretty good, its the lack luster response from their technical dept that made me shift to BSNL.

Just got my TATA NU account. It seems the line is calibrated for 2MB down and 1MB up... Since the account is for 2MB down and 512KB down this is not a problem...

UNLESS you are using multiple accounts...
Since I also have a 256/256 unlimited account, I can log into that account at the same time as well. But the max download speeds seems ot be around 200K with 1 or 2 accounts. BUT the upload speeds goes from 55KB to 75KB with 2 accounts. (IE 512Kb+256Kb)... If they had set my download rate to 4MB then I would have gotten faster speeds...

YES you can log into multiple accounts with TATA using 1 PC and 1 modem and each account can be routed seperately to get higher speeds using RASPPPOE... But have not tested multi link stuff out yet.

VERY consistent speed in the first two weeks, after that 3 weeks NO INTERNET !
Positive: Tata Indicom Broadband is very very good.
Negative: Your CABLE OPERATOR can easily and regularly nullify the above positive

Overall: Tata is being taken for a ride by cable operators Sad

I got a call after complaining that there was no internet for the last 5 days. Said something about not having a UPS. I told him well the internet dont come back even after the power comes back.

So complaint is dealt with.. But what about internet access??? Does TATA allow you to not pay if you dont use internet??? So they should pay me for the charges for when there is no internet. Not that i care now but I have already paid for 2 years so I am stuck. I knew they always had problems but thought I could get by. But cant get by when there is complete outage for extended periods of time so I applied for BSNL again. There just does not seem to be a reliable service provider. Although with both BSNL and Asianet they fixed the problems in a day or so even if they were major as those are priority providers for phone and cable so people wont stand for lasting outages.

Hi Everybody,
I stay in Audugodi, Bangalore
I was thinking of taking a tata indicom broadband connection. Please let me know how the connectivity is. I am looking for limited data download plan.
Airtel here is unbelievably slow, hence thinking of shifting.
