hey guys, i was wondering if the settings of my bsnl mt882 modem are correct.though i haven't messed with any of the settings, these are factory defaults.if any tweaking needs to be done to improve my connection speed,then let me know.

strange ..r these values 4 real.. ?

3.5 db of attenuation .. output power is just .3db
these r too perfect to be true..

maybe the distance from the exchange is <1km thats why the values of attenuation are so low. all the other settings seem fine to me. And seemingly uve got a pretty clear line so there's no need to do anything more to improve ur speeds. unless there is some problem that you are facing.

I have the Operation Mode: G.DMT I changed the ADSL Settings to ADSL2. But the summary page does not change, though the ADSL Settings shows ADSL2.

In another forum here it was stated that BSNL uses G.DMT and the setting should be G.DMT

Help.

well there's one exchange right in front of my society less than 100m away(i live in flats).but i don't know if it deals in broadband.then there is a bigger exchange at a distance of 3-4 km, well it's not too far either.Smile
