Do you mean limiting a broadband account to one physical line?
There is no "fix or workaround" because it is not a problem: it is the way the technology works and the way it is sold. If you want a portable internet connection, I guess they are available too
Early days of BSNL, somehow they set stuff up so that one account could be used on a different physical line, assuming, of course, that it was ADSL enabled. There are threads here from people finding that others had "stolen" their bandwidth. On balance, I think it is to the customer's advantage that, if someone is going to use their account, they have to be
in their house! (Err... or... outside, using the unsecured wifi!

)
And yes, the entire forum has been very quiet of late. Maybe everybody, these days, knows how to set up a TCP/IP LAN and doesn't need to ask! Well, that's good, if it is the case... I sometimes get the feeling everybody has gone somewhere else; that would be a shame.
